Calgary, Alberta - March 31, 2020

The news of COVID-19 may be keeping Albertans home, but the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) continues to hold companies accountable.

On Monday, March 30, the AER laid charges against a Calgary-based oil and gas company for improper water use.

Tamarack Valley Energy and its subsidy have been charged with using water without approval, not monitoring water use, and failing to report its water use to the regulator.

The company will appear in court in June 2020.
